Adam Nelson (Rosalind Franklin Institute & Univeristy of Leeds)

Adam Nelson is Head of High Throughput Discovery at the Rosalind Franklin Institute, Professor of Chemical Biology at the University of Leeds, and Deputy Director of the Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology. His research interests are in synthetic organic chemistry and in synthetic organic chemistry and its application to biological problems. Most of the work of his group involves the development of new methods and strategies for discovering biologically-active small molecules. A key goal is to realize the autonomous activity-directed discovery of chemical probes.
