Melanie Schneider (EMBL-EBI)
Melanie Schneider is a Protein Computational Scientist in the ChEMBL team at EMBL-EBI, Cambridge, UK. Her current research is focussed on the development of methods to assess target tractability, as part of the Open Targets consortium. Prior to joining EMBL-EBI she worked at the Centre de Biochimie Structurale in Montpellier in the area of structural bioinformatics with an emphasis on virtual screening, machine learning, and the incorporation of protein flexibility and quantification of binding affinities for computer-aided drug design.
