Suzana Petanceska (National Institute on Aging)

Suzana Petanceska is Director of the Office for Strategic Development and Partnerships in the Division of Neuroscience at the National Institute on Aging (NIA).  During her tenure at the NIA, she developed a number of research portfolios and innovative programs in basic and translational research for Alzheimer’s disease.

Anna Greenwood (Sage Bionetworks)

Anna Greenwood is a Director at Sage Bionetworks, where she focuses on advancing neuroscience research using team-based, open scientific approaches. Her work is aimed at building tools and processes to enable the AD research community to access and interpret open data and resources. She oversees dissemination of data and results through data portals for large collaborative research projects, including the development of the AD Knowledge Portal and the AD results sharing site Agora. Anna received a PhD in Neuroscience from Stanford University and a BS in Psychology from Rutgers University.

Timothy I. Richardson (Indiana University School of Medicine)

Dr. Richardson is a Senior Research Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and Scientific Director of Molecular Innovation at the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute. Dr. Richardson is interested in pursuing research and driving discovery programs in an academic setting in order to advance treatments into the clinic for patients with unmet medical needs. At IUSM, he leads the Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (MCCB) Core of the IUSM-Purdue TREAT-AD Center, which is an NIH funded research center focused on developing high-quality research tools and technologies to validate and advance the next generation of drug targets for Alzheimer’s disease (AD).

Vittorio Katis (University of Oxford)

Vittorio Katis is a researcher at the Center of Medicines Discovery (CMD) at the University of Oxford, a multi-disciplinary Institute within the University of Oxford which focuses upon translational activities to catalyze the discovery of new medicines. Vittorio Katis supports the structural biology and assay development efforts of TREAT-AD, involved in advancing the development of small molecule probes for novel targets in Alzheimer’s disease.
